Braune Training (Pty) Ltd was established in Cape Town, in November 2011 and officially launched on the 1st March 2012.

The director of this company, together with her staff and associates, is passionate about pursuing excellence!

Braune Training is the dynamic result of collaborating with other smaller training providers and independent contractors, who have vast experience in providing occupationally directed, specialist training to a variety of clients in the wholesale and retail sector.

Braune Training is an accredited training provider registered with the W&RSETA. This powerful combination of expertise has gathered praise in the past from the highest levels. In this new form, Braune Training looks forward to continuing making its mark on the national training arena and inspiring businesses with its vision for life-long learning through excellence.

Judy Braune has over 16 years experience in the education and training arena and is a respected figure in the Wholesale and Retail (W&R) sector. She has obtained both the National Diploma as well as the Certificate in Occupationally-Directed Education and Training Practitioner qualifications. These studies, together with her degree in Hons B. (Human Movement Science) and BSc. (HMS) give her a strong and varied skills set.

Following her occupational experience in the retail sector, Judy started Braune Training & Consulting, a W&RSETA fully accredited provider in 2002. Judy has made a tremendous impact in the W&R sector, providing accredited training for many learners, both employed and unemployed, helping to expand the overall scope of skills development in this sector through the business.

In late 2011 Judy launched Braune Training (Pty) Ltd.

Judy is well known in the industry as a Retail and Management skills specialist, and as an experienced courseware and assessment designer and developer.

Her leadership and strategies were instrumental in guiding one of her retail clients to becoming the first in the sector to obtain the Investors in People (IIP) Award.

Since October 2010, Judy has participated as a representative on the Standards Generating Body (SGB), now known as the Qualifications Management Body (QMB) for the W&RSETA at both the Occupational and HET levels, and served for 2 years as the vice-chairperson for the QMB.
